Reference to "This Salubrious Spot" is a Victorian phrase, meaning a "healthful, friendly place", that the founders used to characterize"The Manor"and was quoted prominently in all prior Douglas Manor commemoratives. It may be an especially fitting reminder for all Manor residents at this point in time.
