Douglaston Dock
Memorial Field
Home
Douglas Manor Association was formed originally in 1906.
The membership, which encompasses over 600 homes, actually owns and maintains the entire waterfront, including a fully operational dock, pier and beach on the west side of the peninsula, and Memorial Field, a park and playground on the east side.
Homeowners are required to honor Deed Restrictions and New York City Landmark guidelines in order to maintain the Manor's original historical character, lush natural landscaping, and comfortably relaxed lifestyle that the founders cherished.
Indeed, the three key mantras of the DMA are to
1) care for the common property,
2) ensure adherence to deed restrictions,
and 3) sustain and improve the quality of life.
